When you get your hair done@the salon for a formal, isn't it weird to look so glam on the streets?

Because I don't have a car, and say if I was to take the train, wouldn't people be looking at you? Same for make-up, if you've got a really great make-up done for your formal event, but its a bit dramatic cos its for evening, won't people feel self-conscious?


Also, when you get your hair styled, and it's a windy day, doesn't the style get wrecked? i know u have hair spray but is it strong enough?

omg i know exactly how you felt like i got my hair done compleetly for home comming and i went to the forum but after a while i just forgot about it you may get a lot of people complamenting you and talking like omg i like her hair dont start wondering waht there saying they are saying how nice your hair is they are not quistioning why your out on the streets with your hair done!!!When you get your hair done@the salon for a formal, isn't it weird to look so glam on the streets?

I am looking for a salon software that isn't out of this world in price. I have a small salon with 5 girls so I don't need anything super fancy. BUT all of my girls check out their customers if the desk person isn't working- I want a software that I can go back in and see which stylist check out which person. Kind of like a log - im afraid they are not ringing out customers and are stealing so if their book stays 10 cleints they should ring out ten girls? Go see Becky at the Orleans! She is awesome. And since it is an off strip property the price is lower. Also each hairstylist is an independent contractor which means they make their own prices and she can easily quote you a price over the phone. She does a great job!!! She has also done my make up for my wedding and I was very pleased. Her stories are the best too!I'm looking for a good hair salon in Las Vegas but i don't want to pay too much. Any suggestions?
Their was a place next to Albertsons on Flamingo with $8.00 haircuts, they wet down the hair then cut it. Blow dry/shampoo extra $$!


So its inbetween the Albertsons and the CVS store. Maryland Prkwy is the next main street up.

I learned the hard way, you pay for what you get. So I would suggest you seek Sara at Scandals (Fort Apache at West Flamingo. I've appreciated Sara over the past fourteen years and she is exception for all types of hair and styles.
You will need to go out into the neighborhoods to get a good deal. A shave and a haircut at the flamingo cost me 60 bucks so i cant imagine how much it will cost for a woman to get her hair done on the strip. Start googleing.

I use Soon Beauty Lab www.soonbeautylab.com they have 2 locations one on the eastside and one on the west. They aer reasonably priced for NYC and do a nice job. If you don't mind traveling to Brooklyn I just discovered diva salon in brooklyn heights http://www.divasalonandspabh.com they are a lot cheaper do a great job and its a really quick trip from lower manhattan
