Hi! i'm new here in dubai & looking for a beauty salon w/ filipino staff somewhere in diera. pls help...?

Not in Deira but if you have chance to visit Jun Encarnacion in Karama, it is a worthwhile experience. Jun Encarnacion is a respected salon chain in the Philippines with highly competent staff.Hi! i'm new here in dubai %26amp; looking for a beauty salon w/ filipino staff somewhere in diera. pls help...?

Has anyone gotten a spray tan from a salon? Does it look real?

I'm fair and really ruined my skin spending most of my 35 years in the sun. I grew up on the beach and spent most of the winters being home schooled down south. I'm starting to get age spots. Surprisingly, no wrinkles! However, I want to start treating my skin well not just for beauty's sake but for the possibility of skin cancer. I'm just afraid that those salon tans will look fake! I've used sunless products at home (even very expensive ones) and they don't look real.Has anyone gotten a spray tan from a salon? Does it look real?
my mom did it and now she is super dark and little orange. i wouldn't reccomend it, but i do recomend that gradual tanning stuff..Has anyone gotten a spray tan from a salon? Does it look real?
I just used spray tan this past weekend for my first time with a friend and I am very pale and she is a little darker then me

we both went in and turned orange and the color hasnt came off completely yet, Its been coming off blotchy and its awful. It does not look real at all and were both orange! I do not recommend it

Try some self tanning lotions, they work out better!

good luck and please answer my question

I had it done for prom and it turned out extremely well for me but that might be because i'm so very light already. If you are dark it might turn kind of orange...i have seen some very bad ones....

if you do it have a PERSON do it. don't go into a spray tanning booth...it may turn nasty.

What are some good nationwide beauty salons where you can go in and look like a celebrity?

They will do your hair, make up, and dress. They will also consult you on celebrity beauty products. What are some good nationwide beauty salons where you can go in and look like a celebrity?
Well I don't know of any franchises or salon chains that can have those creditentials. The only way to go to a place to look like a celebrity is if that place frequently caters to celebrtieis, thus Hollywood / Los Angeles. Most salons, assuming they are professional, you could take a pic of a celebrity and they should be able to recreate that look for you. They should be well aware of the all products on the market but most of the well known shops in Hollywood usually carry their own brand of products. You could call around and ask if they have had celebrity clientele. Most beauty parlors in my area don't deal with clothes but it is simple to go to current fashion clothing store followed by trip to the salon thus the finished product would be similar to that of Hollywood.

Help, I live in the NE Phoenix area and I'm looking for a good hair salon. Anybody??

  • I just had highlights done by a salon, and they look aweful, what should I do?!?

I had my hair highlighted today at a pretty expensive salon (which I thought would do a good job since they were so expensive....the highlights themselves were about 90 bucks) Well they look absolutely horrible...by far the worst ';blonde'; highlights i've ever had. They are not evenly streaked at all, and there is a huge chunk of blonde hairlight on the back of my head that doesn't go all the way down....I wanted to cry when I got home. I feel bad going back to the salon to tell them to fix it, and I don't want to insult the girl who did them....Should I go back to the salon, or just go to walmart and buy some dye to color it back to my naturally color..I just had highlights done by a salon, and they look aweful, what should I do?!?
Go back to the salon. I'm the same way, I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. But you really need to go back if it looks bad. It's not fair that you spent all of that money and came in out of your time to their business and the girl did a horrible job. I'm pretty sure they'll fix it. So yeah, go back!I just had highlights done by a salon, and they look aweful, what should I do?!?
Go back to the salon. For 90 bucks you deserve what you asked for. You can either do that or go to walmart and buy scissors and lop off you hair. Short hair is the best!
Go back! For $90 you should def. go back. Who cares if u insult her, its your hair, not hers.
Go to the salon, for 90$ I'd teach the girl a lesson. ;s
well this girl needs to learn and get it right so just go back
Next time when you try out a new salon make sure to specify and describe in great detail the type of streaks you want...different salons do different sized streaks by default (meaning if you dont explain)...some do ';edgy'; asymmetrical streaks, some do tiny streaks, or some count ';chunking'; as streaking so always specify what kind and the exact shade you need and the exact thickness or width of the streaks you want (as best you can describe them)

personally I think Id just wait a few days then dye everything back to my normal hair color, then try another salon later, of course if I didn't like the streaks the day of I wouldve mentioned something about them not looking ';how I imagined'; and asking them to fix them before shelling out the 90 bucks

but you could always go back and ask although they may charge you to do them over or ';fix'; them. If you're really nice anmd not rude about it they might not charge much or anything at all
