Home Hair Dye?? i want professional looking results, but can't get in at salon- read on....?

right now my hair is medium/dark blonde with my natural brown sort of in between and underneath. i want to dye it at home. i want it to be a vibrant dark brown color. CAN i get this in a box? and if you've had luck doing something similar, which brand did you use? does the color on the person on the box really match what's inside? any advice is appreciated!Home Hair Dye?? i want professional looking results, but can't get in at salon- read on....?
