I just had highlights done by a salon, and they look aweful, what should I do?!?

I had my hair highlighted today at a pretty expensive salon (which I thought would do a good job since they were so expensive....the highlights themselves were about 90 bucks) Well they look absolutely horrible...by far the worst ';blonde'; highlights i've ever had. They are not evenly streaked at all, and there is a huge chunk of blonde hairlight on the back of my head that doesn't go all the way down....I wanted to cry when I got home. I feel bad going back to the salon to tell them to fix it, and I don't want to insult the girl who did them....Should I go back to the salon, or just go to walmart and buy some dye to color it back to my naturally color..I just had highlights done by a salon, and they look aweful, what should I do?!?
Go back to the salon. I'm the same way, I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. But you really need to go back if it looks bad. It's not fair that you spent all of that money and came in out of your time to their business and the girl did a horrible job. I'm pretty sure they'll fix it. So yeah, go back!I just had highlights done by a salon, and they look aweful, what should I do?!?
Go back to the salon. For 90 bucks you deserve what you asked for. You can either do that or go to walmart and buy scissors and lop off you hair. Short hair is the best!
Go back! For $90 you should def. go back. Who cares if u insult her, its your hair, not hers.
Go to the salon, for 90$ I'd teach the girl a lesson. ;s
well this girl needs to learn and get it right so just go back
Next time when you try out a new salon make sure to specify and describe in great detail the type of streaks you want...different salons do different sized streaks by default (meaning if you dont explain)...some do ';edgy'; asymmetrical streaks, some do tiny streaks, or some count ';chunking'; as streaking so always specify what kind and the exact shade you need and the exact thickness or width of the streaks you want (as best you can describe them)

personally I think Id just wait a few days then dye everything back to my normal hair color, then try another salon later, of course if I didn't like the streaks the day of I wouldve mentioned something about them not looking ';how I imagined'; and asking them to fix them before shelling out the 90 bucks

but you could always go back and ask although they may charge you to do them over or ';fix'; them. If you're really nice anmd not rude about it they might not charge much or anything at all
